Hey John , I had a great chat with my wife, Danette, and she had this fantastic idea that I wanted to share with you. She suggested I start writing to our supporters personally every month to keep everyone in the loop about the campaign. I thought it was a brilliant idea (she's always full of great ones), so, without any further delay, I'm excited to introduce you to the Riedel Recap! Since April, my team and I have been hitting the campaign trail, and we've been going non-stop! We started the month in Sandusky, where we attended an event for Melissa Pelletier. We also had a fantastic time savoring Oktoberfest beer and bratwurst with friends in Bryan and took the Oak Harbor Apple Festival by storm (no, really, it rained!) with the Ottawa County Republican Party. This is just a small blip! We were all over, and I was beyond grateful to visit with Republicans across our district, including Erie, Lucas, Ottawa, and Wood County. |

35 years ago this month, I married my high school sweetheart, Danette. She is the love of my life, my partner in crime, and my biggest supporter. If you catch me at an event or parade, you can bet on Danette being by my side! Beyond the campaign, she's an incredible mother to our two children, grandmother, and my best friend. |
