Tomorrow, the Michigan Democratic Party has a critical fundraising deadline for three major reasons, Team. Two might surprise you. Let me explain before I ask you to make a contribution ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. [[link removed]]

First, you might already know that tomorrow is our end-of-month deadline when we close our fundraising books and prepare to issue a public fundraising report that will show exactly how much we have to invest in our important work ahead.

Second, we must prove how strong Democrats are now that Republicans have chosen the radical, anti-abortion, MAGA Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House. Not only is he anti-abortion, but he still thinks Trump won the 2020 election.

Finally, we’re closing in on our one-year countdown until Election Day 2024. In fact, in one year, many Michigan voters will have already voted in the presidential election.

Not only do we need to keep control of the White House and U.S. Senate next year, but we need to win competitive U.S. House races so Democrats can take back control of the House and take back the speaker’s gavel from MAGA Mike Johnson.

Michigan will be one of the most important battleground states in 2024, which is why we need to prove with our October fundraising report that we’re ready.
