Friend, 

As a nation and a people, we’ve never been more polarized. Politically speaking, everyone wears their jerseys, watches and listens only to the voices they agree with and views those who don’t as the enemy. This is compounded by media outlets that cater to one side or the other and serve to reinforce group think and demonize divergent opinions. 

We need to hear both sides of the argument if we are to understand each other and move forward.

Tomorrow, I will be on WABC radio with Anthony Scaramucci from 1 pm to 3 pm for a no holds barred conversation about the issues facing this state and this nation. He’s a lifelong Republican, I’m a lifelong Democrat and we see issues differently but we believe our democracy is enhanced by informed debate. 

I’m hoping for a spirited, lively and informative discussion and hope you’ll be able to tune in.
