Election Day is one week from tomorrow, and with the media already looking ahead to 2024, I wanted to give you a quick rundown of what’s at stake next week.

Before I do that, would you be willing to chip in $25 toward our $15,000 October fundraising goal? This is our final end-of-month goal before Election Day, and we’re running out of time to have an impact on several key races.

Here’s what we’re fighting for on Election Day 2023, John:

Abortion rights: We need to fend off a GOP takeover in VA to keep Glenn Youngkin from banning abortion; and Ohio voters have a chance to enshrine abortion in the state constitution.

The environment: Climate change deniers are running for statewide office in places like Louisiana and New Jersey, and we need to defeat them in order to save the planet.

Democracy: Conspiracy theorists and anti-democracy extremists are trying to flip state legislatures in Virginia and New Jersey, putting election integrity in jeopardy for future elections.
