Morning, John.
Sorry for the early email. I was worried about our looming October fundraising deadline and I couldn’t sleep much last night, so I figured while I’m sitting here drinking my coffee, I would give you an update on where things stand.
Before I explain more, can you pitch in a few bucks to my reelection campaign? Our fundraising deadline is tomorrow, and I want to make sure we’re in the best possible position heading into November.
I’m damn proud to bring my Montana values to the U.S. Senate every single day. I love this country, and I’m relentless in defending Montana and this nation because, at the end of the day, I believe in its people.
I’m in this race to fight for the hardworking folks who power our country: the family farmers and ranchers, the educators and innovators, the union workers and service workers, our public servants, our health care providers.
I'm not done fighting for them, and John, I’m not done fighting for you, either.
But folks, I just checked our fundraising numbers, and right now we are falling behind our end-of-month fundraising goal.
That’s a problem, because national Republicans have named me as a top target in their fight to take back the Senate.
Now don’t get me wrong. I know how to win tough fights—I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again, but I can’t do it without the strength of this grassroots team.
There’s no question about it; with our deadline coming fast, we’re cutting it close. So that’s why I’m personally asking for your help this morning:
Will you chip in $10 this morning to help us close the gap and reach our October fundraising goal? Your support goes directly toward building up our outreach across Montana and keeps me in the Senate fighting for the folks who are the backbone of this country.

Thank you, your support means so much.
