REPUBLICAN CLUB OF THE PALM BEACHES LUNCHEON MEETING
MARCH 25

Please Join RCPB on Wednesday, March 25, for:

Alvin Felzenberg

Author of A Man and His Presidents: The Political Odyssey of William F. Buckley Jr.  Alvin Felzenberg served in several senior policy posts at the state and national levels and is a recognized expert on American politics, the American presidency, Congress, and political movements.
William F. Buckley Jr. is widely regarded as the most influential American conservative writer, activist, and organizer in the postwar era. The book is the result of seven years of research and writing, and delves into Buckley's correspondence, interviews, and includes many rarely seen photographs. This account of one of the most compelling personalities of American politics will appeal to conservatives, liberals, and even the apolitical.

Alvin S. Felzenberg served in two presidential administrations, as an adviser to the Departments of State and Defense, and was principal spokesman for the 9-11 Commission. From 2010 through 2016, he directed communications for the Joint Economic Committee of the United States Congress. In 2006, Dr. Felzenberg was a Fellow at the Institute of Politics at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.

Since 2007, Dr. Felzenberg has taught communications at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. He has also been a lecturer in communications and political science at Princeton, Yale, Johns Hopkins and George Washington Universities. He holds a PhD in Politics from Princeton University.

His other books include: The Leaders We Deserved and a Few We Didn't: Rethinking the Presidential Rating Game (Basic Books, 2008), Governor Tom Kean: From the New Jersey Statehouse to the 9-11 Commission (Rutgers University Press, 2006), Keys to a Successful Presidency (Heritage Foundation 2000), and other works.

He is a former columnist for US News and World Report. Felzenberg has appeared as a commentator on major public affairs television shows, including CNN's "Crossfire," C-SPAN's "Washington Journal," MSNBC's "Morning Joe" and "Hard Ball" with Chris Matthews, National Public Radio's "Talk of the Nation," a public affairs broadcast, and multiple others. His writings have appeared in the Washington Post, the Weekly Standard, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Boston GlobeChristian Science MonitorPolitico, and National Review.

REPUBLICAN FEDERATED WOMEN OF SOUTH FLORIDA TO VISIT THE VA
MARCH 29

The Republican Federated Women of South Florida will not be holding a regular meeting this month. Instead, we will be visiting the West Palm Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center on Sunday, March 29, for an Ice Cream Social and Bingo. We will serve root beer floats to the resident veterans at the VA's Community Living Center and the hospice wing and will lead those who are able to participate in a round of Bingo. This is a heartwarming way to give back to those who gave so much to our country, and we welcome all who would like to go with us. We are scheduled at the VA for 2:00 pm, and for those who would like to carpool, we will meet at 1:00 in the Outback parking lot on Linton Avenue at I-95 in Delray Beach. If you are interested in going with us, please contact Linda Johnson at [email protected].

CITIZENS FOR NATIONAL SECURITY SEMINAR
MARCH 22

P.O. Box 880302     Boca Raton, FL 33488     561-483-6430     [email protected]     www.CFNS.US

CITIZENS FOR NATIONAL SECURITY

[a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Public Charity]

presents a seminar by

Dr. Ali Alyami
     Founder and Executive Director
Center for Democracy and Human Rights in Saudi Arabia

U.S.-Saudi Partnership: Has it Outlived
Strategic and Economic Expediency?

When: Sunday, March 22, 2020 · 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Where: Polo Club · 5400 Champion Boulevard · Boca Raton, Florida 33496

What It's About: Unlike its enduring value-based cultural, religious and heritage relations with Western Europe and Israel, U.S.-Saudi relations are based on replaceable commodities and services: profits for security. While this economic arrangement has endured many obstacles and threats for 80 years, it's becoming increasingly unpredictable at best and irrelevant at worst due to unprecedented advances in technology, steady increases in other sources of energy, and U.S. fracking innovation. At the same time, Saudi Arabia has proven to be an enemy of democracy and a producer of deadly terrorists, individuals and groups that not only threaten American interests abroad, but also the safety of America and its democratic system at home, as exemplified by the 9/11 attack carried out by Saudi nationals. These developments and recent Saudi foreign and domestic reckless and ruthless policies against its neighbors and citizens are making it increasingly difficult for lobbyists and decision-makers to consider Saudi Arabia worthy of American protection and partnership.

Presenter:Dr. Ali Alyami is the founder and Executive Director of the Center for Democracy and Human Rights in Saudi Arabia, based in Washington, D.C. He was born and raised in Saudi Arabia and is an avid advocate for political reforms there. Previously, he was a Senior Fellow at the Saudi Institute in D.C., Director of an educational peace program for the American Friends Service Committee in San Francisco, and a representative for the Arab Organization for Human Rights, a Cairo-based group. Dr. Alyami has a Ph.D. in Government from Claremont Graduate University, and a Master's Degree from California State University. His doctoral thesis was: "The Impact of Modernization on the Stability of the Saudi Monarchy." He has provided expert testimony regarding human rights in Saudi Arabia to the Congressional Human Rights Caucus, has spoken at conferences in the U.S., London, Egypt, Sudan and Israel, and has a frequent media presence.

Advance registration is mandatory! This event is inside a gated community.

GENE HO TO SPEAK AT THE PALM BEACH COUNTY TEA PARTY ON APRIL 6TH

Please join us on Monday, April 6, 2020 as the Jupiter Chapter Hosts:
Author, Speaker, Photographic Artist and Emcee

Gene Ho

Gene was President Trump's personal photographer before and during the 2016 Presidential campaign whose book TRUMP-ography went to #21 in all books and #1 in Politics.

Gene is known to be a one-man MAGA Rally. His humorous anecdotes and high-energy vibe have made him a big hit as he crisscrosses the nation, entertaining and educating crowds while encouraging people to call forth on their courage to stand and support President Donald Trump!

Gene walked away from the Democrat Party and encourages other minorities, in particular Asian Americans and Latinos to rediscover their true conservative natures and walk away!

He recently appeared on the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson Show, the Eric Metaxas Radio Hour, and the Huckabee Show among many others.  He was also recently featured in the Epoch Times due to his unflinching support of the Protestors in Hong Kong, one of only a handful of prominent Asian Americans to do so.
