Social security is more than just a benefit for millions of seniors across the
country--it’s a lifeline.

Almost all retired Americans receive Social Security and nearly 46% of those
retirees rely upon this crucial program for more than 90% of their income.

But year after year, Donald Trump and his right-wing GOP extremist friends
propose GUTTING Social Security, which would leave over 50,000 of Iowa’s
seniors out high and dry.

Without this key benefit, the vast majority of seniors would experience
poverty due to the skyrocketing costs of health care.
