Before I start talking about donations or deadlines, I want to tell you a quick story.

Do you have a few minutes, folks? Before I start talking about donations or deadlines, I want to tell you a quick story.

I grew up on a cattle ranch, and when I came home from school, I’d disappear into the outdoors for hours at a time. I rarely went back to the house empty-handed — bringing home reptiles and other creatures (much to my mom’s chagrin!).

My childhood mischief aside, I can trace many of my core values back to that cattle ranch.

It’s where I discovered my love of the great outdoors — and how important it is to take care of our lands and the wildlife that roam them.

It’s where I learned the dignity of hard work from my parents — and the belief that every person in our country willing to work hard deserves a real chance at success.

It’s also where I learned how to connect and negotiate with others — cows can be pretty good listeners when they want to be!

I’ve brought these values and life lessons to the Senate, where I’m fighting every day to protect our public lands for future generations, lower costs for working families, and build a more prosperous future for all.

I’m ready to keep up this critical work alongside our Democratic Senate Majority, but our campaign is counting on your support to counter Republican attacks and win next year.

Will you help us build our voter outreach operations and support candidates in New Mexico and all across the country? You can help us bring in the resources we need by pitching in toward our end-of-month goal today >>
