This would be a nightmare scenario, John: Republicans are trying to rewrite the U.S. Constitution to ban abortion across the country. And their plan starts on the ballot in Virginia in less than two weeks.

The GOP only needs to win six more state legislatures to call a Constitutional Convention and make this happen. And because BOTH CHAMBERS of the Virginia General Assembly are up for grabs on November 7, Republicans have the opportunity to drop that number to five.
