I have good news and bad news to share with you.

Since Bob likes hearing the good news first, I’ll start with that.
Thousands of people stepped up and contributed to support Bob’s
people-powered campaign for Governor. Because of that support, Bob is in a
strong position, leading the field in fundraising while being the only
candidate who does not accept donations from corporate PACs or large
corporations.

Now, the bad news: Like all state officials, Bob is legally required to
freeze all fundraising after midnight on December 8 until next spring.
Meanwhile, because he’s not an elected official, our anti-choice
Republican opponent, Dave Reichert, will be free to raise millions of
dollars to defeat us.

From now through December 8, we’re not just raising for the next five
weeks — we’re raising for the next five months. To help us stay on pace,
we must raise $95,000 before Tuesday, October 31.
