John, it's Gil Cisneros — I’ve spent my life in service. For 11 years, I served our country in the Navy as a supply officer.

And when I watched the Republican Party try to cut Americans’ healthcare by attempting to repeal the Affordable Care Act, I was called to serve again – this time as a Representative in the historic 116th Congress.

And when President Biden nominated me as Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, I eagerly accepted a new opportunity to serve our country.

But I’ll be honest, John: I’ve been watching what the House has become – partisan witch hunts, gridlock, and no progress for working families – I feel called again.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’m running for Congress in California’s 31st district – and I need you on my team if we’re going to take this all the way to the halls of Congress:

With Representative Grace Napolitano retiring, we have to ensure we keep this seat blue – we can’t let Republicans flip this seat and expand their majority.

I won’t lie and tell you it’ll be an easy fight, John. We know we’re up against an increasingly extreme Republican Party funded by dark money megadonors.

But I’ve always believed that if you have a strong enough grassroots movement, you’re a force to be reckoned with.
