It's time for Amplify Austin!
Over the next 24 hours, folks are coming together to support non-profit organizations that make a difference in the community.
As you think about which organizations to support, we encourage you to consider an organization that has proven that it's effective — and proven that it can make a difference in the lives of thousands and thousands of Texas families.
In the past year, our team here at Texans Care for Children has been instrumental in successfully passing legislation to ensure:
- more students in our schools have mental health support,
- more toddlers with disabilities have access to Early Childhood Intervention,
- more moms have transportation to prenatal care appointments,
- more teen parents in foster care get the support they need for their babies,
- more little kids in child care have opportunities for active play instead of staring at a screen, and
- more children have access to full-day pre-k.
