This article we wrote sparked a blazing fire we'd never imagined...
Dear John,
About three weeks ago I wrote an op-ed that was published in the Washington Examiner detailing the shocking, exploitative practices of Pornhub—the largest, most popular porn website in the world—and the massive company behind it which has a monopoly on internet porn, MindGeek.
The article was called “explosive” as it detailed the way in which Pornhub was enabling and profiting from the rape and sex trafficking of women and minors.
It reveals how I discovered that to upload content to their site all that's needed is an email address—no proof of age or “consent” is required.
This means that Pornhub is a hotbed for mass sex trafficking and exploitation.
A virtual unregulated mega-brothel where anonymous pimps and traffickers can sell anonymous women and girls, to anonymous cyber sex buyers, all for the profit of the mega-corporation behind it.
Read the op-ed here.
The article was circulated widely and other media outlets began to write about what I had exposed (to date at least 35 media outlets!).
The public responded with outrage. People began to connect the dots between sex trafficking and pornography, and it was like gasoline and fire.
Many felt compelled to do something about this massive injustice and began to ask how they could take action.
After a number of requests for me to start a petition, I “off the cuff” started a petition on change.org called “Shut Down Pornhub and Hold Its Executives Accountable for Aiding Trafficking.”
None of us would've expected the response this would get.
The petition began to gain traction instantly. Within one day we had thousands of signatures. Within one week we had 150,000. As of this writing, only three weeks after it began, we have over 366,000 signatures!
People have called this a zeitgeist moment. This is a unique and special time in which there's a distinct energy on the message that the giant of Big Porn needs to be taken down, because it's churning out victims of sexual exploitation by the millions.
Please join the hundreds of thousands who've signed the petition and share it with everyone you know, (and then go share it again.)
We created traffickinghub.com as a central location dedicated to the campaign to expose and shut down Pornhub. Sign the petition, get the full story, see the articles written in the wake of the petition, download the Traffickinghub profile pic, and donate to the cause all in one place.

Let’s take full advantage of this opportunity to rally the abolition army around the world, and unite in saying “enough is enough.” Let's go “all in” in the fight against Big Porn!
