Send a message to President Biden thanking his administration for canceling oil and gas leases on the Arctic Refuge and oppose future leases! ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ACT NOW
[[link removed]]Defender,

Today marks the beginning of Polar Bear Week, and we wanted to share this chance
for you to help protect polar bears and other animals living in the Arctic
National Wildlife Refuge!

The Biden administration recently took a major step in protecting the Arctic
from destruction by canceling all existing oil and gas drilling leases in the
refuge. This is a huge step to protecting crucial habitat for imperiled polar
bears, as well as caribou, migratory birds and other Arctic wildlife.

Now it’s critical that we take the next step and prevent any future fossil fuel
leasing in the refuge. We’re calling on our members to support this administration’s efforts to save
the Arctic and to shut down future leases!

Add your signature: Thank President Biden for canceling existing drilling leases
and urge him to block future oil and gas leasing in the Arctic Refuge!

[[link removed]]TELL PRESIDENT BIDEN: KEEP THE ARCTIC PROTECTED!
Dear Defender,

The Arctic is a little safer – for now.

The Biden administration recently announced it was canceling existing leases for
fossil fuel companies that would have let them drill for oil in precious
wildlife habitat in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

With our climate already in crisis and wildlife in danger across the world, this
announcement is a huge step in the right direction toward repairing our natural
world.

We’re grateful to President Biden for prioritizing a healthy future for wildlife
and people alike. Now it’s time to take the next step and prevent future oil and gas leases!

Sign your name: Thank President Biden for canceling drilling leases in the
Arctic Refuge and urge him to oppose future leases!

The Arctic Refuge provides vital habitat for an incredible variety of wildlife,
including caribou, musk oxen, migratory birds and many more.

The Coastal Plain of the refuge is especially important to the Southern Beaufort
Sea polar bears, one of the world’s most imperiled polar bear populations. These
critically imperiled mother polar bears depend on the Coastal Plain to build
dens and raise their cubs.

This delicate balance could be shattered by destructive oil and gas drilling
that would fracture and pollute this irreplaceable habitat. The existing leases are gone – but another lease sale is looming. The Biden
administration must act to keep oil development out of the refuge!

Tell President Biden to block new oil and gas leases in the Arctic Refuge!

Defender, we’re at a crossroads: We can either continue
on the path of global destruction that fossil fuel dependence puts us on, or we
can wake up to the need to protect our wildlife and communities while we still
can.

It’s time for us to choose. We’re calling on all our members to urge the Biden
administration to protect the Arctic Refuge for generations to come. Don’t wait – add your name today!

PROTECT THE ARCTIC REFUGE
