John — Elizabeth Warren just announced that she is suspending her campaign for president.
Although this is not a day we ever hoped to see, there is no doubt that Elizabeth Warren changed this race and this country for the better.
We are immensely grateful for all that Elizabeth brought to this campaign, and we know many of you are too. That’s why we wanted to make sure that you had a chance to share a note of appreciation and gratitude with her today.

Elizabeth Warren championed policies that ended up shaping this entire primary, from a 2% wealth tax to universal childcare.
Her rallies and speeches were love letters to the power of organized people, especially so many women who have been underestimated, counted out, or told they didn’t matter.
She eviscerated Michael Bloomberg’s record on national television, and helped stop his half-billion dollar assault on American democracy.
She put racial justice front and center, and understood that if one of us was left behind, all of us were left behind.
And she inspired hopes that we could elect a woman president, making pinky-promises with little girls in selfie lines, telling them that she was running “because that is what girls do.”
All of us here at WFP are immensely proud to have been in this fight with of all of you who volunteered, donated, or otherwise pitched in over the last six months. And while this campaign may be over, we know our shared fight for her vision of big, structural change will continue.
If you have a minute, please sign our card to Elizabeth Warren and show her how grateful we are for all she brought to this race.
More soon,
Team WFP
