Hi, it’s Jenny, Tim Kaine’s Finance Director 😀

As we approach the final months of the year and round into 2024, I wanted to send a critical update about the financial state of our campaign -- and what we need to do this week to keep us in position to succeed next year.

Right now, we’re at 84% of our 2023 fundraising goal, and 67% to our October fundraising goal.
If we want to stay on track for the year, we need to reach our monthly benchmark. That means we need to raise another $75,000 between right now and midnight on October 31.
We’re running out of chances to make up the difference if we’re not successful. And the fact is, it’s going to be much harder to raise money in November and December.

We cannot afford to fall behind.

As Finance Director, it’s my job to ensure our campaign has the cash on hand it needs to execute our plan to build a grassroots movement strong enough to defeat any GOP opponent who gets in our path.

And we all know what’s at stake: Losing in VA would almost guarantee a Republican-led Senate in 2024. So we can’t take any chances or get complacent.
