** Super Tuesday has Finally Come and Gone
------------------------------------------------------------

** Now Let's Focus on Our Local Candidates
------------------------------------------------------------
To everyone that helped get out the vote for Super Tuesday, I thank you! It's been a crazy few weeks with the CD6 DFL Debate, Precinct Caucuses, and our Presidential Primary, but now that we have a chance to catch our collective breath, I can proudly say our campaign is more energized than ever. Now it's time to focus that energy and bring our attention and effort to the down-ballot neighborhood candidates.

Right now our State House and Senate candidates (and of course your U.S. Congressional Candidate, wink wink, nudge nudge) need your help. They've been rather overshadowed by the presidential race but are every bit as important. We will not see the positive change in our nation that we are after unless we elect passionate politicians to every level of government. We may not all agree on what candidate we want for the presidential race, but I know we're far more unified as we travel down the ballot to candidates we've met personally and want to see in office.

So please, volunteer your time. Give some donations ([link removed]) to the candidates that aren't tossing around millions. And most importantly, let's stay united against hateful and bigoted policies and politicians. There is far more that unites us than divides us; sometimes we need to remind ourselves of that here in the Big Tent.

** By the way... Coronavirus is still a thing. Please stay safe!
------------------------------------------------------------

As of 2 March, no cases of coronavirus have been found in Minnesota but we should still all take preventative steps to protect our neighbors, colleagues, friends, and loved ones.
* Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
* Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
* Stay home when you are sick.
* Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
* Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
* Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask.
* CDC does not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
* Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others. The use of facemasks is also crucial for health workers and people who are taking care of someone in close settings (at home or in a health care facility).
* Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
* If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
