Puerto Rico Deadline Extended

The application deadline for the College-Aged Puerto Rico Mission Trip has been extended to March 15. The offices of Next Generation Ministries and Mission, Service and Justice are partnering to offer a mission trip opportunity to Puerto Rico. This trip will have a focus on environmentalism, housing rights, colonial history and the relationship between the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The trip will be open to high school seniors, college-age students and select adult leaders. For more information go to

The Challenge of Church Restarts

A church that is fast losing attendance has two choices, according to a church restart expert. It can become a “hospice church” until there are no members left, or take dramatic steps to recruit new, younger members.
