We’ll get straight to the point, team: Here are three HUGE reasons why Russell Coleman is the wrong choice for Kentucky AG:
-
He’s an anti-abortion extremist, now trying to obscure his position because it’s unpopular and dangerous. Coleman has a long record of supporting extreme restrictions on reproductive freedom, including backing the state’s abortion ban, which includes no exceptions for rape and incest. Just weeks before the election, Coleman publicly tried to walk back some of his stance amid backlash to the GOP’s extreme, out-of-touch positions on the issue. We see right through him.
-
He has a history of being soft on dangerous criminals, including child sex offenders. One of the most fundamental duties of a state Attorney General is to keep the public safe and secure justice for the most vulnerable — Coleman isn’t up to the job.
-
He’s handpicked by Mitch McConnell and his far-right allies. Mitch McConnell exerts a lot of influence over Kentucky politics, and the AG seat is no exception. It’s time to show Mitch that he doesn’t own Kentucky and that the people want better than his extremist choice.
Have we convinced you, team? Can we count on you to chip in any amount to help defeat Republican extremists around the country?
