John,

We just left the HUD offices in D.C., where we held a rally to share #OurHousingVision [[link removed]] with over 100 grassroots housing justice leaders, organizers, and allies from across the country. Grassroots leaders are drawing a stark contrast between the actions of this Administration and our vision for a truly just housing system and leaders are sharing the work they are doing in cities and towns across the country to make that vision a reality.

We are releasing our platform at HUD because right now, HUD and the White House are attacking one of the five pillars of our vision for just housing by trying to roll back the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) rule. AFFH is essential to protect our communities and our families. Trump's proposal to rollback AFFH would damage the quality of life for all of us. It would make it harder to end housing discrimination and it attacks rent control, basic labor standards, and laws to keep our air and water clean!
You can help protect AFFH and housing justice for all. Add your name to defend fair housing [[link removed]]
We are excited to be building an aligned movement with you all, and to share publicly our joint vision for solutions that come directly from those most deeply impacted by the housing crisis. Together, we know that we will win.
PS You can also make a difference by giving. Any amount you can give today will help, and your contribution is fully tax deductible. Click here to donate today [[link removed]] .
