I’ll cut right to the chase: My friend Matt Cartwright and I are both running in toss-up districts that National Republicans have announced are top targets to flip next year.

Listen, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Republicans’ House majority is hanging on by a thread, and Democrats only need to flip 5 seats to take it back next year.

We’ve seen all too well what a Republican House majority looks like – infighting, dysfunction, and chaos.

With abortion, voting rights, and so much more on the line, the path to regaining our House majority in 2024 begins with protecting vulnerable districts like PA-07 and PA-08.

But this isn’t going to be easy. Both my race and Matt’s were some of the closest races in the country last year, so we need to be prepared for anything.
