I’m going to be totally honest with you, team:

In the grand scheme of things, your $5 or $10 donation is a drop in the bucket.

Now, I know that sounds like I’m not grateful for your support. But I assure you that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Because while each small-dollar donation is a drop in the bucket … well, that’s how buckets are filled. And I’m immensely grateful for each and every one of those drops.

I can’t promise that your $5 or $10 donation to our campaign is going to end the climate crisis, stop gun violence, or save democracy. But I can promise that it will help keep responsible people in public office, and that’s half the battle.

Long story short, your support is an investment in something greater than you or me. It’s one step toward a more democratic, more sustainable, and more prosperous future.
