In a little over one week, voters across Indiana will be electing local officials — mayors, city and town council members, and more. Here’s why your donation to the Indiana Democratic Party couldn’t be more important:
We have a chance to elect dynamic local candidates who will be the next crop of Democratic leaders for our state. These races will help us rebuild our party from the bottom up.
While Indiana has been a Republican playground the last few years, we know that there’s no such thing as a permanently red state. At the local level, there aren’t Republican and Democratic potholes – it’s about public service and getting the job done.
And Hoosiers are yearning for change. Just last year, the GOP made Indiana the first state to pass a post-Roe abortion ban. Instead of being the “Crossroads of America,” Indiana is becoming an island with less freedom to live the life of one’s choosing.
Our team is working hard to contact as many Hoosiers as possible because as we all know — every vote matters. We’re reaching out to Democrats, independents, and yes – those future former Republicans – to show that Indiana can be a place where the rules are fair, representation is balanced, and everyone can thrive.
Many of these local races will be incredibly close, coming down to just a handful of votes, and it’s critical our candidates have the resources to win.
