Next time you hear them claim they won’t support a nationwide abortion ban, call them on their B.S.

john — If you have any doubts about the intentions of the GOP when it comes to abortion rights in this country, just take a look at the record of the guy who was just unanimously voted as the new Speaker of the House by House Republicans:

  • He celebrated the day Roe v. Wade was overturned, calling it an “extraordinary day.”
  • He suggested doctors who perform abortions should be imprisoned and fined.
  • He argued that women should be denied their reproductive rights to solve our nation’s fiscal problems by forcing them to bear more “able-bodied workers.”
  • He is cosponsoring multiple bills to ban abortions across the country.

His record on abortion is extreme — and every last House Republican voted for him.

So next time you hear Republican elected officials say abortion rights should be decided in states, call them on their B.S. Next time you hear them claim they won’t support a nationwide abortion ban, call them on their B.S.

And please, chip in to support my work to make sure voters know the truth about Congressional Republicans so we can kick them out and defend reproductive freedoms.
