Friends -
In just a few days, we’ll close the books on an October fundraising drive. It’s not an official FEC deadline, but we do have some very real goals to hit this month that are especially important now that we have a few Republican opponents in the race. Plus, with all the chaos that’s happening in Washington, this has been a rough month for fundraising.
The path to keeping our Senate majority depends on our race here in the notorious swing state of Michigan. It’s why keeping up with our (very real) internal fundraising goals is such a critical part of defending this seat.
The number one source of individual contributions to this campaign is from emails like this. I am very proud of that fact.
But today, I am asking YOU to make your first online contribution to my campaign for Senate.
One of the potential Republican opponents in this race has raised $46,200 from the Betsy DeVos family – and we know that this is just the beginning of big donors trying to influence this race. We are staying focused on sharing our positive, affirmative message with voters. But we need to stay on top of our internal fundraising efforts and ensure we have the resources to continue getting our message out to voters.
We have just over a year to reach as many voters as possible to keep Michigan blue, but it’s going to take all of us working together. That’s why I would love to earn your support today. Will you consider making your first online contribution to my campaign for U.S. Senate in Michigan?
