Hi John,

The stories we tell on social media about care are powerful. They bring our issues into the spotlight and pull us together as a community. I know when Iโ€™ve been at low points in my life, hearing from fellow caregivers has helped me be resilient.

We know producing such personal online content takes a lot of courage and time. Thatโ€™s why Caring Across Generations and Fair Play Policy Institute are proud to honor some of the most inspiring care influencers on social media right now.

Meet the 2023 Care Catalyst award winners: Chris Punsalan, Raena Boston, Imani Barbarin, and Jessica Guthrie.

An orange graphic featuring the FairPlay Policy Institute and Caring Across Generations logos in the bottom right corner and a title that reads "Care Catalyst Award Winners"; in white text. The graphic showcases four individuals: Chris Punsalan, Raena Boston, Imani Barbarin, and Jessica Guthrie, with their respective social media handlesโ€”@chrispunsalan, @theworkingmomtras, @crutches_and_spice, and @careercaregivingcollide. In the top left corner, there is a blue star shape. [[link removed]]

Our four awardees shine a spotlight on care by documenting their personal care experiences on social media, helping people who give and receive care feel more seen, heard, and connected.

Join the online care conversation and follow them on Instagram:

By driving crucial conversations about aging and disability care, child care, and paid leave and nurturing online communities of people directly impacted by care, Chris, Raena, Imani and Jessica exemplify the spirit of care advocacy and culture change. They inspire us to keep fighting for a future where care is valued and supported at every stag of life.

With care,

Ishita Srivastava, Chief of Narrative & Culture Change
