Carlton County, Minnesota — The Board of Commissioners removed language from an ordinance that would have banned the sale of flavored tobacco products.

Chula Vista, California — The City Council voted to table an ordinance to prohibit the sale of flavored tobacco products and e-cigarettes.

Kentucky — The state House passed a bill to increase taxes on e-cigarettes and other tobacco products from 15% to 25% of the wholesale price.

Montana — The state Department of Public Health & Human Services says a temporary ban on e-cigarettes will continue until April 15. The ban was originally set to end on Feb. 21, but the state argues that a pending injunction has pushed that time frame back.
