John, hitting our fundraising goals every month is critical to ensuring our team has the resources we need to win the most competitive 2024 gubernatorial race in the country and protect North Carolina. But right now, we’re falling behind.

That’s a big issue. National Republicans and their allies are watching this race — and they won’t make it easy for us to keep North Carolina’s governorship blue. Top presidential candidates — including Donald Trump, Mike Pence, and Ron DeSantis — have already come here to try to bolster their extreme candidates.

National right-wing-aligned dark money groups also have their eyes on North Carolina. Meanwhile, my newest multi-millionaire opponent has already reserved MILLIONS in TV ads to try to defeat me.

I know Democrats can win in North Carolina — I’ve already won two statewide elections. But it almost always comes down to the closest of margins. That’s how I know that hitting our monthly fundraising goals now is one of the most important things we can do to win next year.
