DWC LUNCHEON

A note from Silvia Cancio, DWC President:

We look forward to seeing you every second Saturday of the month and appreciate your participation and support.

During the last few months we have experienced a number of no-shows at the luncheons. This results in a financial loss to the DWC and extra work on the part of our planners. In order to give us and the venue ample time to plan and process your lunch requests, we ask you that you observe the reservation deadline and cancel your reservation at least three days prior to the lunch if you are unable to attend. Hopefully, this will eliminate unnecessary work and facilitate the job of those who plan the event.

We ask your cooperation in observing the reservation deadline and cancellation process. In the absence of a cancellation we will be billing you for the cost of the lunch.

Thank you so much for your cooperation.

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE OFFICE?

The Voter Protection team is hard at work preparing training for the poll watchers who will volunteer for early voting in the Presidential Primary. Thank you to all who have taken the training and signed up!

The Precinct Action Committee (formerly Precinct Taskforce) is meeting weekly now to ensure our precinct captains are supported and successful. We are developing canvassing plans and future trainings.

The office is busy analyzing what volunteer positions are needed in the upcoming months. It will take dedicated, long term volunteers to make sure we achieve our goals.
