Our campaign has been seeing it for a while in every packed event Kathy has hosted throughout the 8th District. This trend was discussed recently in coverage of one of Kathy's visits to Ste. "...[T]he Eighth District...continues to struggle with the opioid epidemic and with poverty in 16 counties in the Bootheel. [Kathy] said the contamination of waterways has increased with deregulation and a relaxation of environmental standards from the Republican administration.

“'What we’re seeing is a renewed Democratic Party in the Eighth District,” Ellis told club members last week after saying she had surpassed her first fundraising goal."



More and more voters are showing up all across the District, ready for change. Democrats are showing up in huge numbers—while new voters, rural residents frustrated with the tone and gridlock in Washington, and many people worried about kitchen table issues like jobs and wages, have had enough and are finally agitating for change.
