There’s been a lot happening in our race lately, so before you log off for
the weekend, we wanted to make sure you caught the three biggest updates:

1️⃣ A new, high-profile GOP opponent jumped into the race against Katie—a
famous baseball player with megadonors at the ready.

2️⃣ Governor Newsom officially called a special election in California’s
Senate race after Senator Feinstein passed. This means there will
technically be two Senate elections side-by-side on the ballot—which
doubles campaign contribution limits, putting our small-dollar funded
campaign at a major disadvantage.

3️⃣ Recent polls show Katie in a strong position, with one showing she’s
tied for first. But polling doesn’t matter if we don’t have the resources
to remain competitive in this race.
