Republicans have made it clear flipping Minnesota’s 2nd congressional district is key to their strategy to not just defend — but expand — their House majority. If we’re going to take back the House in 2024, it’s absolutely critical that we defend this seat.

We are gearing up for a competitive, expensive race. After all, Republican groups spent more than $13.5 million to try to unseat me in the midterms. You can bet they’ll ramp up their spending this year with their House majority on the line.

We need to bring in resources now to gain a competitive edge against our opponents — who all represent the far-right ideologies of the Republican Party. My latest challenger even applauded the Supreme Court for overturning Roe v. Wade and ripping away the right to an abortion from millions of women.
