We hope we caught you before you log off for the weekend, John.

Our October fundraising deadline is just 4 days away, and we’re hoping that grassroots donors can chip in $4 to help us reach our goal.

Since it’s not an election year, we expected to see a drop in grassroots energy, but not to the extent that we would risk missing our fundraising goals. 

It’s been fairly up and down over the last few weeks as you can see in the screenshot we took from ActBlue this morning:

To be clear, we don't need to stop our campaign — but as we near the coming election year, we need to see a surge in grassroots support to a) make up for lower fundraising energy and b) lay the necessary groundwork to give Lauren and our team the best chance to succeed in 2024.

So today we’re not asking for much, just $4 for Lauren’s 4th term, for 4 days until the end of October, in this 4th quarter.
