Hey John, I just got back home from a fundraiser with top Virginia Democrats. The big statewide election there takes place just 11 days from now. And if you’re wondering why I care about these Virginia campaigns, let me explain.

MAGA extremists mounted a serious campaign to take control of their state government. If they succeed — and right now, it looks like they’re close — they will turn back the clock on voting rights and pass an outright ban on abortion.

John, Virginia is a testing ground for the MAGA 2024 election playbook. If they win there in 11 days, they’ll try the same approach in Maryland and across the country. That’s why I’m fighting to stop them and show that voters reject that kind of anti-democracy, anti-choice platform.

We were able to raise some good money at the event last night, but the truth is these Virginia candidates need a lot more. So I’m reaching out to our own campaign’s supporters today with a last-minute call to action.
