Why is this so important? For three weeks, extremists in the House of Representatives brought Congress to its knees while they decided on a new Speaker. Meanwhile, Republicans are trying to expand their majority in the House, and Sanford Bishop is one of their prime targets.
In order to take the Speaker’s gavel back, Democrats need to pick up several seats while defending all of our incumbents in close races.
