By now, you’ve heard that Republicans finally ended their weeks-long search for a Speaker of the House they could agree on.

The winner was Mike Johnson of Louisiana. And in his first interview as speaker, he was asked whether he’d expel indicted liar George Santos.

Unsurprisingly, Johnson flatly refused to expel him, proving that in order to unseat George Santos, we need to do it the old fashioned way, by beating him at the ballot box.
