Winter Parking Restrictions
When it snows, Mendota Heights maintenance crews clear more than 140 lane miles of City streets, in addition to arterial sidewalks and trails ? county and state crews plow the highways. The task is not always an easy one, but there are many ways residents can help out!
For example, parking is prohibited on any public street from 2?6 a.m. Nov. 1 to March 31. Parking restrictions are also in place on all public streets after any snow event resulting in two inches of snow or more, until the street is plowed from curb to curb. Following these restrictions will help ensure streets remain safe and passable throughout the winter months.
