Dear John,
Young voters overcame numerous barriers to cast a ballot earlier this week. Reports likes those out of Austin, Texas where undecided young voters waited three hours to cast a ballot tell us what we already knew:
Young people are determined the use the most powerful tool they have in our democracy, and they will play a critical role in the 2020 Election
It also reinforces the need to fight for young people’s right to vote.
With young people comprising nearly 40% of the U.S. electorate, it’s critical that we invest in young voters. That’s why Rock The Vote is doing everything in our power to reach, educate, and uplift young voters with trusted and current information that empowers them to cast a ballot and recruit their friends to vote.
We are building upon our 30-year track record of registering and mobilizing young people to vote at higher rates than ever before, while fighting for the rights of all young people.
You can help us uplift young voters and expand our reach by becoming a monthly supporter. Your contribution will help fund Rock the Vote’s programs to register, educate and turn out millions of young voters this November. We are planning to break records, and we need your help to do it. Let’s build together! Sincerely, |
