Despite weeks of performative protests against Matt Gaetz, Mike Lawler was one of the key votes that allowed Mike Johnson—someone with a record nearly identical to Jim Jordan’s—to become the next Speaker of the House. Someone who:
  • Led efforts to overturn the election of President Joe Biden
  • Wants to pass a national abortion ban
  • Wants to cut Social Security and Medicare
  • Wants to jail me for being gay and ban marriage equality, and said being gay is “inherently unnatural” and a “dangerous lifestyle”
  • Made a career out of attempting to overturn the Affordable Care Act
THAT'S who Mike Lawler proudly voted to be the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and he needs to be held accountable.
