On Wednesday, House Republicans unanimously elected Congressman Mike Johnson as the 56th Speaker of the House.

A principled conservative and constitutional attorney, he is a great pick to lead Republicans against the Biden Agenda and progressives in Congress.

Speaker Johnson is in his fourth term in Congress after a career as a constitutional law attorney. In his second term, he became Chairman of the conservative Republican Study Committee, and then became Vice Chairman of the House Republican Caucus.

The new Speaker brought all Republicans in Congress together, winning unanimous support from the House Republican Conference, and ending the 22-days of stalemate.

Now, I’m ready to get to work to help grow the majority he will need to stop Joe Biden and the progressives from dismantling our country.

We have a narrow 4-seat majority, the courts are now requiring New York, North Carolina, Alabama, and now Georgia, to redraw congressional maps favorable to Democrats.

Let me be clear: this will wipe out our majority in Congress!

Michigan’s 7th District is the top open seat in the country according to the Cook Political Report. President Trump won it by 4% in 2016 and Biden won by less than 1% in 2020.

We can win this seat but not without the help of every conservative who cares about our country. Last year I was outspent 4-1…we can’t let that happen again.
