John: I want to be very direct about the clear and present danger represented by the new Speaker of the House. This is Mike Johnson (and I'm NOT making this up): 1) Voted to overturn the 2020 election results and said the voting machines were "rigged" 2) Voted against the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women's Act 3) Believes our planet is only 6,000 years old 4) Blamed school shootings on abortion 5) Said if women were forced to have more children we wouldn't need to cut Medicare and Social Security (i.e., we'd have more workers) 6) Said homosexual relationships are "inherently unnatural" 7) previously worked for an organization designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. |
