From coast to coast, AMP is leading the work for Gaza

Dear Email,

We are now almost three weeks into one of the most devastating and destructive attacks against the Palestinian people in history. Over 7,000 people, including 3,000 children, have been murdered by the Israeli apartheid regime with the backing of President Biden and the U.S. government. Against all odds, AMP and our supporters have taken our movement to the heart of America’s streets and to the halls of power in the U.S. Capitol, mobilizing the nation to take action for Palestine. Here's what we've accomplished in the past week:

Ceasefire Now Protest - Oct. 20th

Last Friday, AMP and our solidarity partners brought together thousands of people to protest in front of the Capitol Building, where we also held Friday prayers led by Imam Omar Suleiman.

National March for Gaza - Oct. 21st

On Saturday, AMP hosted the National March for Gaza in Washington, D.C., with over 15,000 protestors from across the country joining us to make their voices heard. Buses came from all over the nation to show solidarity with the people of Gaza and protest the Biden administration's unequivocal support for the ongoing genocide. This protest was part of our larger project which included protests in Chicago, New York City, NY, New Jersey, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, Milwaukee, WI, Dallas, TX, New Haven CT, Minnesota, and Toledo, OH.

Palestine Advocacy Days - Oct. 23rd-24th

For the past nine years, AMP and AJP Action have hosted Palestine Advocacy Days, bringing Palestinian Americans and allies from across the nation to advocate for Palestine. This year's event could not have come at a more crucial time. More than 300 passionate Americans, representing 25 different states, converged in Washington, D.C., to lobby their members of Congress to end the U.S. complicity in the genocide that Israel is committing in the Gaza Strip.

At AMP, we are working as hard as ever through our advocacy, education, and mobilization efforts. This is just a small glimpse into what we’ve been up to. But for us to be most effective, we need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today to help us continue this necessary work. The people of Palestine deserve more. Let’s make sure we don’t let them down.

Sincerely,

Dr. Osama Abu Irshaid
Executive Director, AMP
