ISI has received lots of calls since we announced the winner of the 2020 Conservative Book of the Year.
ISI students and young alumni are eager to meet award winner Wilfred McClay, author of Land of Hope, an excellent new history of our country.
And you can help.
We created the Student Sponsorship ([link removed]) to help worthy young people attend ISI’s Conservative Book of the Year Dinner and meet Dr. McClay.
I can see why ISI’s students are so interested in coming to the dinner in St. Louis on March 28.
Dr. McClay has written a much-needed book. Land of Hope is the response we need to slanted histories like Howard Zinn’s People’s History of the United States.
Pulitzer Prize winner Gordon Wood calls Land of Hope a “brilliant new history.” And the American Conservative’s Rod Dreher calls Dr. McClay “a national treasure.”
So I’d love to give ISI students a chance to meet Dr. McClay, hear him speak about Land of Hope, and get a book signed.
