Woof: CNN just updated their list of Senate seats most likely to flip in 2024 – and Michigan is in the top ten

Here’s why Michigan could flip from blue to red next year: Michigan is a notorious swing state, and we know that in a swing state, sometimes you swing. This open Senate seat gives Republicans one of their best shots at flipping a seat that could help them take back control of the Senate. So, despite Democrats’ success last year, we know that Michigan will go red under the right conditions – and we can’t leave anything to chance in this race.

With a presidential election on the ballot as well, this election cycle is especially susceptible to that pendulum: The public polling released so far shows that not only is our race currently neck-and-neck with 14% of voters undecided, but a potential match-up between President Biden and former President Trump is unfortunately a dead-heat. That means we have not only one, but two tough races to win here in Michigan next year.

So, what does this mean? For us, the big takeaway is that we can’t take Michigan’s success for granted. That’s why we’re doing the early work to ensure a strong foundation for success down the line. We’ve been taking our message directly to voters early by visiting towns all over Michigan and meeting with folks to talk about the issues that matter to them. And we will continue to meet with people in every corner of our state.

But these early on-the-ground efforts have to be matched by grassroots energy.
