Jeff and I woke up early this morning. He pulled his laptop from his nightstand, opened it, and showed me the response from yesterday.

Wow. Thank you.

You haven’t heard from me since the congressional campaign, but I want you to know that Jeff and I are every bit as committed to this race as we were to that one.

When Jeff worked at the District Attorney’s office, I remember him saying that his goal was to one day work for the Attorney General.

Well, now he’s running for Attorney General. It’s a big statewide race, and we are absolutely ready for it.

To everyone who has been with us for years, you just can’t imagine what it means to us. The best way we know how to thank you is to stay committed to the type of public service you respect and want to see more of in our state and country, and I think that’s what Jeff stands for.
