You know, I have to say this about Minnesota: it’s a great state, full of great people. And sometimes they do crazy things. Like setting the world record for most basketballs spun at the same time (that’s true) or winning the most WNBA championships (go Lynx!). And sometimes…they make political side shows for themselves. But that’s for another email.

One other thing is true of Minnesota: We love Joe Biden and we’re working day in and day out to get him reelected. So, apropos of nothing, I’m asking you to join us:

Joe and Kamala have an unbelievable record of accomplishment. They’ve created millions of jobs around the country, and over 185,000 jobs right here in my home state. We even had the President here a few months ago to tout them, and he’ll be back next week. Maybe that’s why every elected Democrat in Minnesota has a record of voting with him on nearly every single item of his agenda.

If we take our eyes off the ball, we could lose out on all of the progress we’ve made. We’re up against Joe Biden’s only credible opponents: Donald Trump and his MAGA minions. We need everyone’s head in the game if we’re going to defeat them -- everything else is a silly sideshow.

If you, like me, are focused like a laser on helping Joe Biden defeat MAGA Republicanism, stand with me and hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans today:

Pitch in $25 to reelect Joe and Kamala and help them finish the job. We’ve got a big general election ahead, and no time to be distracted by the noise. The key to Joe Biden defeating Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans again is good Democrats like you standing behind him. The rest is just gravy.
