Hi Friend,
Exactly one month from today, the world will gather at UN headquarters in New York to work on the best plan we have to stop nuclear war: the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW).
But the UN won’t be the only action in town for the TPNW: together with ICAN partners, scientists, impacted communities, artists, musicians and everybody who wants to speak up against nuclear weapons, we are taking over New York for an entire week! So will you help us make Nuclear Ban Week New York a resounding success?
<[link removed]>Yes, I’ll donate <[link removed]>After last year’s landmark achievements in Vienna, the TPNW’s second Meeting of States Parties on November 27th to December 1st is the perfect opportunity to draw attention to the urgent need to get rid of nuclear weapons, and to bring together the global community working to do so.
From a Global Day of Action <[link removed]> to End Nuclear Weapons on November 26th to art exhibits and concerts, from in-depth side events on subjects like verification, victim assistance and environmental remediation to daily online recaps, and more, we will be complementing what is happening inside the UN with a massive range of events <[link removed]> that show how the world expects real action for an end to nuclear weapons and for those at the meeting to use the treaty as the tool to do so.
As the civil society coordinator, ICAN is super excited - and very busy - making sure everything and everyone is in place to make the best use of this moment! And individual donations <[link removed]> from generous supporters like you help us make all of this work possible. So will you consider making a donation?
<[link removed]>Contribute now <[link removed]>Together, we can make a difference and work towards a brighter, more just world.
Thank you,
Susi Snyder
