John, while we grapple with the aftermath of a congressional standstill due to Republicans' lengthy and chaotic Speaker search, there were some positives that occurred over the last few weeks.

One of those was a recent announcement from the Department of Energy for up to $1.2 billion to help California work towards a clean energy future. This money was made possible through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, a landmark piece of legislation I was proud to advocate for.

We all know that it’s critical that we take bold climate action before it’s too late. This investment will help our state become a leader in the research and development of renewable energy—and create thousands of jobs right here.

Now, I need to know what my top supporters, like you, think. Click here to sign my petition supporting the move towards clean energy here in California and beyond before tomorrow night→ [[link removed]]

We must protect our environment and make sure the U.S. can compete with other countries on the global stage with our green energy investments.

People suffering respiratory issues, global temperatures rising, and the rise of natural disasters are already stark reminders of the need for action that stops climate change.

This is an essential duty we owe to our future generations to ensure public health does not continue its decline.

Be well,
