Earlier this week, we reached out to you after U.S. military bases in Syria and Iraq were targeted by a series of drone and rocket attacks. We have just received word that 24 military personnel were wounded in these attacks.
Although most of these injuries were minor and the injured service members have all returned to active duty, there have been a few reports of traumatic brain injuries. This is an alarming reminder of the danger our troops face day in and day out to defend our freedom. Now, with no end to the Israel-Hamas war in sight, the Air Force has deployed an additional squadron to the region, putting even more airmen in harm’s way.
While this community came together to support our troops in a great way, the need for support has grown even larger as our service members deploy to the Middle East. The good news is that the match opportunity from our generous group of donors is being EXTENDED so the USO can keep supporting the U.S military around the globe.*
Please, rush $29 or more right now to have it doubled for our troops in the Middle East and around the world.

Subject: BREAKING: Drones target U.S. military bases in Iraq & Syria
The Israel-Hamas war has continued to create danger and instability throughout the Middle East. As our troops stand ready to support our allies and defend democracy, the USO is committed to doing whatever we can to support them. And although U.S. troops are not actively engaged in combat at this time, reports have emerged of drone strikes on U.S. military bases in Iraq and Syria. That’s why this news is so critical: A generous group of donors is MATCHING all gifts, up to a total of $50,000, until midnight tonight*.
That means the value of your gift will go TWICE AS FAR for service members in the Middle East and around the world who are risking their lives to defend our freedom. So please, will you rush a rapid-response donation now to help us reach our goal to raise $50,000 via email by midnight and stand with our troops at this critical moment and into the future?
In times of war and peace, the USO is committed to providing essential resources and support to American service members stationed all over the world. Our teams are working around the clock to provide care packages and USO2GO programs to deployed troops and to support their families back home throughout this difficult time.
But we rely on the generous support of patriotic Americans like you to carry out this vital work, and we need you more than ever right now. Will you rush a MATCHED gift* of $29 or more before midnight tonight to stand with our heroes as they make immense sacrifices to serve and protect our country?
We will continue to keep you updated as this ongoing conflict unfolds. For now, we thank you for being a part of the military supporter community.
