As a former basketball coach and long-time shooter, I'm looking forward to watching the 76ers take on the Bucks in their opening game tonight.
You can't sink a shot like this without practice.
Not many people recall, but before taking office, I used to spend a bit of time on a basketball court. I played in high school, and after college, I coached eighth grade basketball in Philly.
And if there's one thing I have learned from my time on the court, it's this: You have to keep your head in the game from tip-off to the final buzzer.
I still carry that lesson with me today.
In 2024, I'm up for re-election, and this might be the toughest matchup in the country. Mitch McConnell and national Republicans are targeting Pennsylvania, and it's critical that we build a campaign that can take them on.
